Completed in 2020, the villa is nestled just beyond the edge of the picturesque mountain village of Sellia (near Plakias), perched at 228 meters above sea level—offering sweeping views across the valley, rugged mountains, and the deep blue of the Libyan Sea.
Set on a spacious private plot of 2,088 m², the villa is accessed via its own road and stone staircase, complete with private parking. With 92 m² of interior living space on the ground floor, the layout includes a generous open-plan living room, a fully equipped designer kitchen, and two serene bedrooms, each with its own ensuite bathroom. An exterior staircase leads to a stunning roof terrace of 92 m², where sunsets and starry skies await.
Every detail in the villa has been crafted for ultimate comfort and style. From the high-quality furnishings and granite tiling (inside and out) to the double-glazed, sun- and heat-resistant windows, air conditioning, electrically operated shutters, and sliding insect screen panels—your comfort is assured, in every season. Exterior walls feature natural stone accents and atmospheric lighting, creating an enchanting ambiance from day into night.
Enjoy sun and shade throughout the day with two pergolas and two balconies, each offering a unique view or quiet corner to relax. The master bedroom—with two expansive sliding doors (2.90 m wide)—opens directly onto the terrace and faces the shimmering infinity-view pool, with views stretching all the way to the Libyan Sea. A king-size bed, positioned to take in the panorama, promises restful sleep with a view.
Step outside to your private 28 m² illuminated infinity-view pool with an outdoor shower, seamlessly accessible from both the terrace and the master bedroom. A 40 m² natural lawn, complete with parasol, and sunbeds, offers a peaceful place to unwind. The outdoor living space on the ground floor spans approximately 120 m², offering plenty of room to relax, dine, and soak in the views. The roof terrace, another 92 m², provides a front-row seat to unforgettable sunsets and a blanket of stars after dark.
On clear days, the island of Gavdos—Europe’s southernmost point—can be seen on the horizon, some 40 kilometers away.
Despite its tranquil location, Villa Sea-Esta Crete is perfectly positioned: a short drive brings you to beaches, restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, shops, and ATMs. For those who enjoy being active, it’s a scenic 30-minute walk to the beach, and just 15 minutes to the heart of Sellia village.
The surrounding area is ideal for swimming, hiking, trail running, mountain biking, fishing, and diving—with local information and tips available at the villa.
Villa Sea-Esta Crete is easily accessible by rental car, located just 1.5 hours from both Heraklion and Chania airports via well-maintained roads. Alternatively, you can take public transport to Plakias and continue by taxi, with the villa just 3 kilometers away.
Please note that there are stairs leading to the main entrance of the villa. There is no infrastructure to accommodate the needs of people with limited mobility.
Upon arrival, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our local Greek hostess, who will personally hand over the keys (for check-ins between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM). She remains available by phone throughout your stay, ready to assist with anything you may need.
